Paying homage to three generations of inventors - Léon, Gaston, & Willy Breitling - the Premier Duograph displays Breitling's watchmaking expertise with its split second complication. This stunning Premier B15 Duograph features a 42 mm stainless steel case. Its striking blue dial is highlighted by two-hands on the central chronograph showcasing two elapsed times at once. Featuring rectangular chronograph pushers, bi-compax chronograph look and Arabic numerals, the heritage-revived Premier chronographs display a variety of elegant design details such as grooves on the case-sides, open sapphire casebacks, and vintage-inspired hands. The Duograph is powered by the manually wound COSC-Certified Manufacture Caliber B15, featuring two patented innovations: one to simplify the mechanism and the other to improve accuracy.
Duograph was a term used by Breitling in the 1940s and refers to a chronograph rattrapante. A rattrapante (from the French rattraper - to catch up) is one of the most elaborate of all watch complications. In terms of manufacturing difficulty, it's on a par with the tourbillon and minute repeater. Its function is to measure two elapsed times at once (intermediate and split time), which it shows via two hands on the central chronograph.
Breitling watches are entirely manufactured in Switzerland, according to the strictest Swiss watchmaking quality standards.
